ChamSys at LDI 2012
ChamSys had a great exhibition at LDI 2012 in Las Vegas 19th to 21st October with universal approval for our new distribution strategy. It was great to see so many people excited about our new products, especially the Compact range and the new Wing products. The flood of new orders has been very encouraging, reinforcing our focus on powerful products at an affordable price.
ChamSys announces new USA distribution (August 2012)
ChamSys is happy to announce new distribution for ChamSys products in the USA through the newly founded ChamSys USA distribution. ChamSys USA is based in Florida and is headed by Philip Watson. Phil is a long time MagicQ user and brings much MagicQ experience to ChamSys USA. ChamSys USA will hold a large sales stock at its warehouse in Florida, enabling next day delivery of ChamSys products.
ChamSys USA holds a large inventory of demo and training equipment and will be running frequent MagicQ training courses around the USA.
ChamSys USA benefits from being independent of any rental companies, thus enabling ChamSys to promote and sell across the whole US market. ChamSys USA is pleased to announce that it is reducing its MagicQ Wing prices to bring them in line with the European prices, reinforcing their value for money and affordability.
ChamSys USA intends to build upon PRG's track record of selling our products by promoting our core philosophy of free software (all 32 universes free and fully enabled) and best value for money lighting control surfaces that have built our markets in Europe and the rest of the world.
Existing ChamSys customers who purchased equipment through PRG Distribution will continue to be supported by PRG through their PRG Dallas office repair centre. In addition ChamSys USA will provide telephone support to all ChamSys customers regardless of where they purchased the equipment. PRG has formally closed PRG Distribution, and intends to focus on system sales through its local shops rather than product sales through national distribution.
ChamSys would like to thank Tim, Eric and Esteban and all those who played a part in PRG Distribution for their efforts over recent years promoting ChamSys products into the US market. We understand the issues they faced when trying to sell products to PRG's competitors. We wish them well in their new careers.
